oct. 5 (weds).
why did i schedule my first appointment of the week at 9am? that's downright silly. today was a lot like last friday as far as i can recall...
bike - i can go all the way around with minimal cheating (toe pointing).
stretching - i thought i was going to pass out on the off the end of the table stretch. my quad and IT band are really tight. having just woken up at about 8:30 probably didn't help.
exercises - quad sets w/ biofeedback. straight leg raises w/ biofeedback and 5 lbs, 10 each direction. leg extensions over the wedge (10). and off the end of the table with some flexion stretches in between (10). standing on one leg (15). TKEs with the grey band (15). calf raises (40). shuttle thingy with 3 bands (3x10).
walking in water (forwards, backwards. squats underwater).
flexion - i think i got to 105.
oct. 7 (fri).
we did some new stuff today.
bike - i went forward the whole time. i had to point my toe a little. chris set the bike to go for 10 minutes on manual, which is the first time we've done that.
stretching - same story. a lot of tightness. at the end of the hamstring stretches, she's been pushing down at my toes to stretch my calves. great. my quad and IT band still scream at me on the last stretch off the end of the table. chris worked on them some.
exercises - quad sets w/ biofeedback. straight leg raises in 3 directions, 10 reps each w/ 10 second hold, with biofeedback and 5 lbs. leg extensions on the wedge with 2.5 lbs (10). and off the side of the table, same weight, with flexion stretch at the end (10). TKEs with grey band (10). balance board (new) with both legs - front/back and side/side directions, 2 minutes each. single leg stance (15, w/ 10 sec hold). shuttle with the balance disc (new) - 3 bands, 3 x 15. calf raises (40).
hydrotrack - forward for 10 mins. at 1.75 or so mph, backwards for 5 mins. at 1.3 or so. squats.
flexion - we got to 110. i don't think chris pushed, but she made me do it instead.
