ok... monday oct. 10 at PT.
bike - 10 minute manual "you know you're out of shape when" program. hey, at least i can go for 10 minutes.
stretching - the right quad and IT band are still super tight. i guess there's no way to get around that. but it's beginning to annoy me. maybe i should stretch more.
scars - chris decided to press directly on my lowest scar - the one on the tibia that's still pretty stuck. it was sorta like the sensation you get when you go for a massage and he/she rubs the bony protrusions around your knee except 10 times as intense. she also gave me some of this silicone adhesive stuff (it's like a patch of goo) to put on later to help smooth out keloiding on the main scar.
exercises - 30 each direction for straight leg raises, only a 3 second hold, with 5 lbs, and no biofeedback anymore. leg extensions on the wedge with the 5 lbs (10). leg extensions off the side of the table with 5 lbs, and with some flexion stretching after each (10). chris tried to have me do little squats holding on to one of the machines, but i told her it was mildly uncomfortable, so we didn't do them. standing on one leg (15). shuttle with the balance disc (3 x 15 with 3 bands). TKEs with the grey band (15). calf raises (4 x 10).
hydrotrack - 10 minutes forward about 1.7 mph, 5 minutes backward about 1.3 mph, squats.
flexion - i got to like 105 the first time. chris massaged my scars some while i was hanging out there. i got to 110 the next time, and then she pushed it to like 113. awesome. i think i'm supposed to get to 120 on wednesday. we'll see about that.
icing - i took a nap.
i was allowed to walk around the gym without the crutch today. i'm still supposed to use the crutch for longer distances though. which is a good thing. i can't go very far without it. i've been feeling a little more sore at night and in the mornings... hopefully that's going to go away.
