more PT. last week. - week 7

sept. 27 (tues) -
bike - i finally got around backwards and forwards without lifting my ass off the seat. i'm still cheating a little (pointing my toe down). stretching - oh, we're doing the one where my leg is crossed over (ass stretch) now with my right leg, only chris doesn't lean on it like she does with the left. thankfully.
exercises - quad sets (10), straight leg raises (10 x 3 directions) with 4 lbs, all with biofeedback. we added some stuff - she put a roll under my knees, and i tightened my quad then kicked out my leg slowly. then i sat with my legs hanging off the table, and did more leg extensions (slowly). feels a little weak, and i get a little pain on either side of the patellar tendon, but not bad. upon getting back to the hanging position, i pushed with my other leg to increase flexion angle. then TKEs with the grey band. then i did some weight shifts and single leg stands (like 15 of each). at first, i had to hold on to one of the machines for support on the single leg stands, but after a few, i could do it with my hands on my head. did 4 x 10 calf raises (both legs). and i got to do the shuttle today, too, with 2 bands (like 20 lbs maybe), 4 sets of 10... though my last set of 10 was probably more like 15 because i couldn't really remember how many i was supposed to do, so i just did more.
hydrotrack - walking backwards and forwards, squats at the end. feels pretty good.
flexion - i think i got to about 95 myself, and in the end we got to 103 after a little "help." chris wants to get to 105 by the end of the week, so she let me go with the 103.
we did a bunch of manual stuff kind of at different times between stuff today. total with the icing, i was in there for 3.25 hours. chris ended up with an extra patient, plus some people who may have come in at the wrong times... so it was a little busy in there. and we added a bunch of stuff.

sept. 30 (fri) -
bike - still have to do the mini-cheat to get all the way around both ways.
chris didn't stretch me today... i didn't remind her.
exercises - quad sets, straight leg raises - 5 lbs, biofeedback. leg extensions with the flexion stretches at the end (hanging off the table). TKEs (15). single leg stands (15). calf raises (40). shuttle with 3 bands - 3 sets of 10.
hydrotrack - forward about 1.8 mph, backward about 1.0 mph.
flexion - i pulled to about 100 myself. then chris did some pushing, i think i turned red, cried uncle, and she finally stopped. she said she got to 112. at some point i rested my other leg on her shoulder i think, and she thought i was going to kick her. i kinda thought i was going to pass out at the end.
did i forget anything?
i guess i was there for only 2 hours this time.
