week 38.

sunday, apr.30.
i did some exercises with kate that were hard. they involved balance and knee stabilization as well as hamstring strengthening. a little hard to explain, though, without demonstration. they came from a running magazine i think.

monday i was a little sore, especially in the hamstrings.

tuesday, may 2.
stairmaster - 10 mins.
stretching.
exercises - box jumps (6). i'm jumping over the 12" and then the 18" and then on top of the 24" now... i think i said that already previously. side jumps over 12" box (3x10). leg press: double leg 10, 11, 12 plates (10 ea w/ 18 calf raises betw. yes, i'm a slacker); single leg 6, 7, 8 plates (10 ea). hamstring curls: 20, 25, 30 lbs (10 ea). leg extension: 15, 20, 25 lbs (10 ea). outside: forward run, turn 180, backwards, stop, forwards, turn 180, backwards x 4. short shuttles (2). hop diagonally over line (3). getting a little more pain on the lateral side today than normal. jess said could be IT band. feels more internal, but i'll take it a little easy and see how it feels later. back inside. crab walk. single leg squats on half ball w/stick across shoulders (3x15). did i do more stuff? i don't think so. i think i was tired, sore from everything including sunday, and hurting some. and ice felt nice.
