week 29.

so... this week only 1 day of pt because chris is out of town thursday and friday and frankly i did my scheduling way way too late.

however. i did go to the gym. and i went climbing.

monday, feb. 27.
sculpted the guns at the gt gym for 30 minutes before going to watch the 'cool ranch' team's intramural basketball game, which they won big. so, it was sort of a fast paced workout - upright row (60). lat pull downs (i used that hammersmith machine over by the water fountain instead of the one in the middle of the gym next to one of row machines, and i like it - weights i don't remember). seated bicep curls (12.5 lb dumbells). prone shoulder thingies (7.5 lbs). chest press (35). triceps w/rope (27.5 - kinda too heavy). external rotation (2.5 with 2 extra bars ?). internal rotation (7.5 ?).

wednesday, feb. 29.
PT first, then basketball watching, then climbing.

ice to go.

basketball game - spectating.

climbing at atlanta rocks. my harness is pretty small as it turns out. there's a dude there (one of the owners?) named gregg perry who was an ultimate player back in the day with chain. knows michael baccarini. i had some technical difficulties at the beginning making sure my harness was safe, but it all was well. chris wanted to make sure i didn't die. and i didn't. i was tired, though. i climbed a bunch of stuff around 5.6 and 5.7... i think next time i'll go for the tougher stuff. but this was a good re-introduction to climbing and belaying. probably did 7 climbs altogether. one with a slight overhang part. i like my "new" shoes... "new" meaning i probably got them 2 or 3 years ago but then never used them.
