picture of the week 1.05

i typically post picture of the week towards the latter part of each week, but this simply cannot wait. taken saturday 02.04.06, late in the evening of the 6th day of blaise. from left to right: blaise porter, charlie gersbach, adam higgins - three brave contestants attempting to consume 22 krystal burgers, 22 oz. beer, in 22 minutes. there were a few bonus prizes on the table as well: a krystal chik, a couple extra burgers, and 3 chili cheese pups in the styrofoam box. and that's my pbr in the picture, stage left.

final tally at the end of 22 minutes:
blaise - 19 krystals, less than 12 oz. of beer (maybe 8-10 oz.)
charlie - 13.5 krystals, less than 12 oz. of beer.
adam - probably 11 or 12 krystals (but craig started helping him and combined they ate fewer than blaise), less than 12 oz. of beer.
